I love my dulcimer

My Folkcraft dulcimer not only sounds absolutely beautiful but is also just gorgeous to behold. I’m not a great player as yet, though I will say that I’ve never heard “Oh Susanna” sound quite so amazing in my entire life. I am 100% thrilled with it and look forward to getting better and better with this exquisite instrument on my lap.

Folkcraft® Custom Series Dulcimer, Walnut Body/Spruce Top.

I've been playing mountain dulcimer for a few years but still very much a beginner. This dulcimer is perfect for me, my hands and my abilities yet one I believe will allow me to progress as a player. Thanks Richard for your time and recommendations when I was at the shop! The tone is amazing.

Absolutely incredible Craftsmanship

I ordered a custom series dulcimer with custom sound holes and a few other customisable options and couldn't be more impressed with the attention to detail and clear passion in the work of Richard and the guys over at Folkcraft. They are clearly experts in their field and kept me up to date with how my dulcimer was coming along during the months, which is always nice. Couldn't be happier with it. The smell of the wood is amazing as well :)

Unsurpassed Quality

My first dulcimer in 2006 was a Folkcraft. Throughout the years I have purchased dulcimers from other companies, as well as ones produced by local luthiers. I keep coming back to Folkcraft because the sound quality, exemplary craftsmanship, and physical beauty of the instruments are unsurpassed.

Very cool

This rocks but I was thinking of a 10 String MaxDAD which has 5 pairs of strings & it would certainly have a nice Jangle. I would call it the MaxDAD X, the X is the Roman Numeral for 10.
