Folkcraft Player - Christine Teresinski

I originally played guitar for most of my life. I am self taught, play by ear, and I don't read music. I decided I needed a change and learned to play the ukulele. I was still looking for something different from sound to something that would challenge me.
In 2019, I came across my first dulcimer through a Canadian dealer online. Loved the instrument and learning to play, but the quality wasn't the best. In 2020, I happened on Folkcraft dulcimer via the internet of course. I watched some videos of their handcrafted instruments and fell in love. So I ordered my first - walnut body/sides with a spruce top. I could not believe the superior workmanship, and the sound just resonated. I was definitely hooked. I ordered another that same year - all walnut, and then in 2021, I ordered my third - walnut body/sides with an eastern red cedar top. I enjoy watching videos by Bing Futch, Steven Seifert, David Haas, just to name a few.
The dulcimer is not an instrument any of our music stores carry. I play for me/family, and have on occasion, jammed with my son, who plays guitar. I have designed my custom dulcimer which currently sits in my cart. Hopefully, I will be able to order this real soon
