First Black Swamp Jam

January 26, 2013 - First Black Swamp Jam

Today's Black Swamp Jam - we had fifty-six mountain dulcimer players in the first session. The second session then added another dozen or so players on other jam instruments (hammered dulcimer, guitar, banjo, autoharp, ukulele, Irish whistle, spoons, mandolin, etc.). The third session (sponsored by the TRU-Ukes) closed out the day with sixteen ukulele players.

 

 

All of us here at Folkcraft had a wonderful time, and we really enjoyed seeing old friends and making new friends. (the music part was nice, too!) Thank you, everyone, for taking part!
