Folkcraft Instruments

I am just getting started with all of the information in this book. There are many songs in different tunings to help get acquainted with the entire fret board. The recordings are helpful also.

This book is a must have for any beginner MD player...OR any MD teacher...But would serve to augment the repertoire of more capable players. Steve is a consummate player and
a treasure in our music. Highly recommend!

I have a California Body Hour glass shaped Dulcimer, which is wider (8") and deeper than a standard size mountain dulcimer. Both the width and depth would not fit a standard dulcimer case. This case is one of the few that would fit my dulcimer. It is well built. The zippers are heavy duty and move smoothly. There are extra pockets for the extra's you might need, e.g., noter, picks, music, etc. I have extra room and may add some foam padding to keep the dulcimer in place and extra protection. The case itself has heavy vinyl to protect from minor scratches. I am very pleased.

This capo fits my California Body size dulcimer. It is easy to use.

This book is amazing! It shows so many chords you can make on the chromatic fretboard. I doubt it I’ll ever learn all of them 😁

The Folkcraft Bronze Wound Strings offer a distinct tone for acoustic dulcimers and have a bright sound.

I’ve not started building yet but the plans look sufficient.

I am very pleased with the strap I purchased for my Dulcimer. It is very well made, and feels much more secure than the more narrow straps. I highly recommend this one.

I was very pleased with the quality of the rosettes.

They look great a easy placement. Thay are always perfect, however, ai must have tossed them out as they came with another item.

Book has lots of great jam songs! Looking forward to getting my new Folkroots H Series dulcimer and diving in!
