The dulcimer was exactly as I ordered, and wonderfully crafted. It has a lovely sound, and is easily tuned. In fact if arrived almost exactly in tune. I am a beginner, and this is a joy to play, which encourages practice.
Love this dulcimer. Great workmanship. Lovely wood. Sounds great. Exactly as ordered. Thanks.
It is rare to have a handcrafted instrument, and she is a beauty. Also I would recommend the hard case. It is pricey, but beautifully made, and will protect your dulcimer.
I love my bass dulcimer, such a deep and warm sound. And, thank you for taking the time to answer my many questions. 😊
I now have a FolkRoots dulcimer from all three builders. Howard Rugg, David Marks, and now Richard Ash. Two standards, and a baritone. Saving up for number four, now. Need a bass!
