Folkcraft® Black Coated Bronze Wound Strings, Ball Ends, Pack Of Twelve, .024

Just put these on my vintage cherry Folkcraft dulcimer. I absolutely love them! Not only do they sound great, they are much easier on the fingers, and easier to see on the fret board. . A joy to play with these strings. Thanks for the efficient customer service and for a terrific product.

This is my first time using the Black Coated String Set and I am pleased with the result. They have a lovely sound and are gentle on my fingers. I will buy them again.

Unusual strings. I find them ok but somewhat harsh (or is that brilliant) in tone. They tend to squeak when sliding fingers between frets. The treble string was very fragile and broke twice as I was putting it on.

I have used these on my custom McSpadden 6 string. They seem to last forever, and produce a nice smooth, mellow tone. With a nice Folksy sound as well. Plus they look killer on this Dulcimers Ebony fingerboard and Black Tuners. Just a nice artistic touch besides the amazing sound and quality.

The black coated strings play well. There is less friction on the wound strings. I do hammer ons and pull offs, and slide from one note to another and it's easier with these strings. They sound great and play easy.
