Folkcraft® Northern Cherry Mountain Dulcimer Fingerboard Blank, 1 1/2" Wide

Excellent website with great resources for Dulcimer making that did not exist in Australia where I live. Everything I ordered was shipped and arrived in great condition including all of the wood for top back and sides. Thank you very much I will definitely come back for more and recommend to others.

Every wood craftsman has his or her favorites in wood. In walnut I prefer dark heartwood, but this scroll was almost all light sapwood. It will not be used in a dulcimer, but it will be a pattern for the ones that I cut.

I needed a fingerboard for a mountain dulcimer I was finishing for a friend. I ordered one from Folkcraft knowing I would receive one that would be straight and true. It arrived as I needed. I did a light sanding to check for level straightness and proceeded to mark the frets. This quality of this fretboard was top notch.

Love everything about my new dulcimer I built. The kit arrived on time, had all the parts and pieces needed, and was fun to build. The instructions were a little confusing but not bad. I had a question and called them. They thoroughly explain it and were very happy to help me. I had to order two new top pieces which was my mistake and the ship them out promptly. I am thinking of ordering another kit maybe in walnut this time. I would recommend them to anyone.
