Wonderful new Folkcraft custom dulcimer!

This was my fourth custom instrument from Richard Ash and Folkcraft. I can’t say enough good things about working with Richard and his staff. the materials, build and support are tops in every area from order config to receiving a completed instrument in great shape. My latest instrument with walnut body and butternut top also has a very warm and accurate sounding pickup system - another Wow! I have a new custom LapJo on order now so that my original can go back for a refresh! I’ve got to publish “family” pictures soon!

KMW Teardrop Dulcimer

This dulcimer is awesome--beautiful enough to display, but that would be a waste, because its so much fun to play and such a pleasure to listen to (even when I'm the neophyte playing it) . Richard and the KMW instructors were extremely helpful, offering a number of suggestions which somehow did not conflict and resulted in a dulcimer that is easy a joy to play, listen to and display. Definitely one of my best buys!

This is the most beautiful instrument. The sound is so much better than the one I was using. That old one is a toy compared to my Folkcraft.
