Very impressed with the Quality & Sound of my Dulcimer, well made & fast shipping!
What can I say? I own 4 mountain dulcimers, 2 of which were made by Folkcraft including my recent buy, a Folkcraft Custom Series. I cannot express how ecstatic I am with my Dulcimer. Rich and the folks at Folkcraft have exceeded my expectations with this build. I knew this MD would be a quality instrument, but WOW! I was blown away. The action is perfect, I had the 1.5” fret board added and the ease of play is amazing. Rich even upgraded my body from African to Honduran Mahogany, and I must say it was a good call. The sound is full and rich and even with the 26” VSL, the sustain is incredible. I honestly could not have asked for a more perfect instrument for me. So thank you Rich and Folkcraft for making this instrument for me, I could not be happier!
Craftsmanship and voice is beautiful. Richard sent me photos of wood for the top and I was able to select one. This dulcimer exceeded my expectations in every regard. Even with the pandemic and reduced staffing, Richard got this dulcimer to me in a very reasonable amount of time. You will not be disappointed if you purchase a dulcimer from Folkcraft. Thanks Richard.
I really like my folkcraft dulcimer made by folkcraft intruments in indiana. It arrived in 3 days in pristine condition with my music books etc.Thank you very much folkcraft.
I own and play five different Folkcraft dulcimers and I prefer this one over all others. The preamp is tremendous because it can shape so many different sounds. I find a three stringer easier to to play because hard fingerings are easily hit. It sounds terrific too. It really sings. The double back really makes a difference. I recommend all Folkcraft products. Great helpful friendly service too.
