After using several of these string sets, they all have been very consistent and very good quality.
I ordered 2 sets of strings to get my Folkcraft dulcimer ready for a play out. I was afraid I had ordered too late, but they arrived in plenty of time for the event!
Wasn’t sure about the firmness but they play great and really help project sound out of my dulcimers. Even strumming is smooth and not twangy. Pleasantly surprised!! 5stars.
I haven't been able to try them yet, because I still need tuner pegs for my dulcimer. As soon as I can get this fixed, I'll send a better review

Love these straps and highly recommend.. We ordered 2 - 2" straps for our urrent dulcimer so that we could have a strap adjusted for my husband and one for myself. They are quick connect and fit perfectly. We'll be ready when we buy our next dulcimer.

Been working wood all my life. I’m now in my seventy’s enjoying all the finer woodworking I never had the time for. Learned how to carve a spiral/volute head stock and thinking about feet or souls of shoes for sound holes. So maybe the first Soul Dulcimer is born as a compliment to the traditional heart shaped sound holes. Heart and soul, yeah! My sweetheart has a 50 year old, all cherry hourglass with hearts.we gonna be strumming out here.
I’m slowly working on a OM guitar build after this…just thought it would be a good way to get my feet wet in building a Dulcimer first…a lot of the same rules
