Folkcraft Instruments will be on hand with a nice display of mountain dulcimers and dulcimer accessories, and Folkcraft owner/luthier Richard Ash will be there with a full selection of tools, so he'll be able to help your dulcimer with repairs, set-ups, string changes, and most anything else that your dulcimer needs. Saturday, October 12, 2024 - October 17, 2024 Black Mountain Music Fest This is one of the premier festivals around - just a handful of years old, and already revered by millions. Well, thousands anyway. Highly recommended. Great leadership, great venue, great instructors. Folkcraft will be vending, and Richard Ash (from Folkcraft) will be one of the instructors. And of course, if you need some work done on your instruments, Richard will be there with his full tool kit, ready to help out. See you there! |
February 22, 2025 - March 1, 2025 Castaway Music Cruise, 2025 Edition
How would you feel about spending some time on a beautiful cruise ship (Norwegian Cruise Lines, Epic) in the dead of winter, taking dulcimer classes with some new dulcimer friends, visiting interesting ports (St. Thomas, Bahamas, etc.), and generally having a great time? Instructors? Bing Futch, Guy George, Sharrie George, and Folkcraft's very own Richard Ash. Bing will be teaching mountain dulcimer and Native American flute, Guy will be teaching steel drum and pennywhistle, Sharrie will be teaching ukulele, and Richard will be teaching mountain dulcimer.
