Folkcraft is putting together a series of twenty-four artist clinic/performances for 2013. This will be new for us, but doable, now that we have a (mostly complete) concert hall. We're calling this project our "Second Saturday Clinics".
We're hiring two artist/instructors on the second Saturday of each month in 2013. One artist will present a mountain dulcimer clinic, the other will present a ukulele clinic. Here's the daily schedule we're planning on right now:
We're going to run two clinics simultaneously - a mountain dulcimer clinic and a ukulele clinic. We'll combine our guests into one audience for the 4:00 concert, and each of the two artists will get 30 minutes on stage.

We're going "low key" with the Second Saturday Clinics:
1) No meals (feel free to bring a sack lunch, or snacks if you'll want something).
2) Low cost ($20.00 per attendee, and the jams and concerts are free for guests of attendees).
3) Easy schedule - guests can easily make a one-day trip from Chicago, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati areas.
Concert Hall
Many months are already booked with artist/instructors, but a few months are still open. If you know an artist that might be interested in taking part, please have them contact Folkcraft Instruments.
I'll be posting a schedule of artists and dates later this fall. Those of you with experience at the various Folkcraft music festivals know that we hire only the best instructors, and we'll continue that tradition for our Second Saturday Clinics.
This is an exciting new project for all of us here at Folkcraft - I hope lots of you will be able to join in the fun.
