(Posted by Nicholas Young on 7/22/2010)   We had 3 great instructors. There were 2 amazing concerts. Our 1 incredible weekend has come to an end.   The 1st Indiana Dulcimer Festival is in the books, and saying that it was a success would be an understatement. Nothing but positive feedback has been received, and we are sincerely grateful to all who attended the event. We made a lot of new friends!   Mother Nature showed up in the form of a torrential downpour on Sunday, delaying dinner service and forcing everything (including the concert) inside. But we adjusted accordingly, and made it through without a hitch. And as an IDF registrant so appropriately said: "...there's nothing like a weather crisis to get people to form a bond."   Plans are already starting to develop for the 2011 Indiana Dulcimer festival. Keep an eye on www.IndianaDulcimerFestival.com as details come to light.
