This hickory blank set includes 2 pieces of book matched hickory each measuring 4" x 32" (may vary by up to 1/8") for a total of 8" x 32" with a thickness of 1/8" (finished to 120 grit).
For the "Joined, Glued And Sanded" options, we have joined the edges of the two pieces, glued them together and sanded the resulting piece on both sides giving you a single book matched piece with a seam down the middle.
About Hickory: Hickory is one of the hardest and heaviest domestic hardwoods available. In appearance, hickory ranges from off white to light brown with a fairly open grain pattern. Hickory is fairly easy to work, although it takes a little bit of effort because of its hardness, and finishes very well.
