This beautiful piece of western red cedar has been shaped and cut to 22" x 8" (may vary by up to 1/8") and comes in a thickness of 1/8" (finished to 120 grit). This piece can be used as either a back or soundboard for a bowed psaltery.
About Western Red Cedar: An evergreen tree found primarily in British Columbia, Canada, western red cedar is a very soft, lightweight wood. The softness of the wood leaves it vulnerable to accidental damage, especially scratches from picks and fingers.
