This beautiful rosette pattern resembles a curvy, winding road. This rosette, made of maple which can be stained to other colors, may be used for hammered dulcimers, psalteries, and other instruments to add beauty and texture to your instrument. These rosettes are 1/8" thick and are available in both 2 3/16" diameter and 1 1/2" diameter.
About Sugar Maple: Sometimes called hard rock maple, sugar maple is native to the northeastern states of the USA, and also to the southeastern provinces of Canada. Sugar maple lumber is beautiful, durable, and stable, making it ideal for instrument making. The hardness and density of sugar maple make it an excellent material for pin blocks for hammered dulcimers.
