This padauk mountain dulcimer side set includes 2 pieces of padauk each measuring 2" x 32" with a thickness of 1/10" (finished to 120 grit).
We give options for both straight and bent. The bent pieces are shipped to you pre-bent in the traditional mountain dulcimer hourglass shape.
About Padauk: Padauk trees are primarily found in Africa. Padauk lumber has a naturally red/orange hue to it. The color of padauk will naturally turn to a rich, vibrant brown over a period of several years. Padauk lumber machines and finishes well, and is suitable for all parts of a dulcimer.
