| | Ebony Inlay Strip
These inlay strips are perfect for adding an accent stripe to the back of your dulcimer. Take a set of book matched pieces (like our two piece back/soundboard blanks) and glue this strip in between them. The stripe draws attention to the mirrored grain pattern of the book matched pair. The inlay strip is large enough vertically that you won't need to get things perfectly centered to get a good glue up.
Each strip 32" long and 1/8" thick and approximately 1/4" tall.
About Ebony: Ebony is a very dense and hard wood with extremely tight grain. It is almost always entirely black, but will occasionally have streaks of dark brown. Ebony works fairly well, but takes a little more time to cut because of its hardness, and has a tendency to chip.
