This padauk blank set includes 2 pieces of book matched padauk each measuring 4" x 32" (may vary by up to 1/8") for a total of 8" x 32" with a thickness of 1/8" (finished to 120 grit).
For the "Joined, Glued And Sanded" options, we have joined the edges of the two pieces, glued them together and sanded the resulting piece on both sides giving you a single book matched piece with a seam down the middle.
About Padauk: Padauk trees are primarily found in Africa. Padauk lumber has a naturally red/orange hue to it. The color of padauk will naturally turn to a rich, vibrant brown over a period of several years. Padauk lumber machines and finishes well, and is suitable for all parts of a dulcimer.
