These deluxe hammers are double headed, providing you with the option of striking your dulcimer strings with either the wood side of the head or the leather side of the head. Either way, the feel and balance of our hammers will make playing your hammered dulcimer easier and better-sounding than ever!
This innovative hammer design incorporates a nickel into the head of each hammer, allowing you to achieve both a powerful attack and a lightning-fast bounce. We offer several coin choices in this series of hammers, ranging from dime (lightest), to penny, nickel, and quarter (heaviest).
Technical Notes: All of the hammers in our "coin series" are made with northern cherry shafts and East Indian rosewood handles. Made in the USA by Folkcraft Instruments.
