This custom Folkcraft brand hourglass dulcimer has a body crafted from the rare claro walnut and a soundboard from birdseye maple. This combination creates a mellow sound with strong response without major overtones. The combination of sugar maple and birdseye maple as accents add a distinct look, as well as protects the fingerboard from strumming scratches. Our custom hourglass dulcimer allows your personality to be showcased with the additional custom selections of black chrome finished enclosed gear machine heads, three mother-of-pearl fret dots and our maple leaf tone holes.
