By design, our Folkcraft brand teardrop dulcimer has a deeper bass sound than our standard dulcimer. This teardrop dulcimer has a northern cherry body coupled with a western red cedar soundboard which creates a bright, full tone that has 'singing' qualities. The unique lacewood accents add a pattern that looks like water droplets, plus the lacewood protects the fingerboard from strumming scratches. The classic "F" tone holes showcase your personal style.
