By design, our Folkcraft brand teardrop dulcimer has a deeper bass sound than our standard dulcimer. This teardrop dulcimer has a black walnut body coupled with a Sitka spruce soundboard which creates a fat, mellow tone with great resonance and excellent note separation. The dark wenge accents adds a nice contrast, as well as protects the fingerboard from strumming scratches. The circle tone holes showcase your personality.
